Darin is an artist and bookbinder working across disciplines.
She currently works out of a studio in Boulder, Colorado, painting and bookbinding. She makes custom books and boxes as well as small editions of prints and fine stationery from repurposed materials. She enjoys collaborating with other artists to produce photography and art books, especially to show off their work in unique ways.
Darin teaches both drawing and introductory bookbinding 1-1 and with small groups.
Her collection of hand-held, modular printing tools invite pattern design as part of the printing process through manipulation of the tool architecture. This group of tools was conceived of while studying textiles at the Royal College of Art in London and is patented in the US.
Darin holds a BFA in painting and MA in textile design. She has worked as a commercial bookbinder in Berkeley, Los Angeles, and London.
